THE VESSEL

Cachalo

A 51 m luxury Indonesian Phinisi built in 2024 for 18 guests in nine ensuite cabins, with spacious indoor/outdoor areas, Nitrox, satellite Wi‑Fi and a dedicated dive setup.

Cachalo is a handcrafted Indonesian Phinisi built in South Sulawesi and launched in 2024. The operator brochure lists a 51 m length, 11 m beam and ironwood / teak construction.

Nine ocean-view guest cabins accommodate up to 18 guests. The vessel carries an 18-member professional crew and is designed for seasonal diving expeditions through Raja Ampat, Komodo, Alor and the Banda Sea.

The operator's published inclusions cover full board, scheduled diving, Nitrox, satellite Wi‑Fi, laundry, selected watersports, land excursions where permitted and airport/hotel transfers.

Shared spaces

Dive deck

Dedicated dive area of approximately 45 m², supported by two 7.5 m dive tenders and onboard air/Nitrox compressors. Exact dive schedule depends on the selected route, weather and operational conditions.

Camera facilities

Cachalo promotes a dedicated indoor camera station / camera area for underwater photographers. Confirm current charging points and camera-workspace procedures before travel.

Rental equipment

Dive equipment rental is available at additional cost. The operator website lists full equipment, dive computers, lights, wetsuits, fins, additional sidemount tanks, 15 L tanks and action cameras; exact inventory and prices require advance confirmation.

Safety equipment
