THE VESSEL

Tiare

A luxury Indonesian Phinisi carrying up to 14 guests in six ensuite air-conditioned cabins for remote dive expeditions across Indonesia.

Tiare is a traditional Indonesian two-mast Phinisi created for dive expeditions and non-diving companions, with antique teak interiors and generous indoor and outdoor guest spaces.

Accommodation is arranged in six ensuite air-conditioned cabins: two Double, two Twin and two Triple cabins, for a maximum of 14 guests. Dedicated dive and camera facilities support demanding remote itineraries.

Shared spaces

Aft dive deck with individual gear stations, storage, two hot showers and tender-supported diving. Tiare’s current terms state up to four dives per day where itinerary and conditions allow.

Dive tenders

Two approximately 6 m dive tenders support diving operations; current supplier documents list engines in the 90–100 HP range.

Camera facilities

Dedicated camera/equipment room with long camera table, shelving, multiple charging stations and a workstation for underwater photographers.

Rental equipment

Rental BCDs, regulators, computers, wetsuits, fins, masks/snorkels, torches and safety accessories are available by advance request and subject to stock.

Safety equipment

Safety equipment includes ENOS personal beacons, life rafts, life jackets, emergency oxygen on the main vessel and dive tender, first-aid equipment, fire detection and firefighting systems, EPIRB and satellite communications.

Navigation equipment

Navigation and communications include radar, GPS/charting, AIS, depth sounder, VHF/DSC/SSB radio and satellite phone.
