Sali Kecil is a small island in South Halmahera, North Maluku. At Sali Bay Resort, beachfront accommodation and a flexible diving or snorkelling programme offer a land-based way to explore the surrounding waters.

Stay at Sali Bay Resort

Choose a Beach Front Villa or a Beach Front Divers Lodge room, with full-board meals included. Stays start at six nights; the resort commonly hosts guests for around twelve nights. Diving, snorkelling and transfers are arranged separately.

Reefs, small marine life and snorkelling

Guided boat dives visit coral slopes and muck habitats. Small groups allow time to look for macro subjects and enjoy the reef scenery. The house reef and morning snorkelling trips add options for guests who prefer to stay near the surface. Sightings and sites depend on conditions.

Year-round stays, with local weather in mind

Sali Bay is open all year. The resort advises that southerly winds from June to August can make the bay rougher in the afternoon. During northerly winds from December to February, the island provides shelter for the bay. Discuss your preferred activities and dates before choosing flights.

Travel through Labuha

Arrive at Labuha Airport (LAH), then continue for about 20 minutes by road and 50–55 minutes by boat. Suggested routings connect through Manado or Ternate. Regular resort transfers follow the latest arriving and earliest departing flights, so early departures are possible. Reconfirm the flight and transfer combination with the resort before ticketing.

For Sali Bay stays from 1 April 2027 to 31 March 2028, published return transfers are €100 per adult and €40 per child aged 6–12, with infants free. A separate local tax of IDR 250,000 per person per stay is paid at the resort.
