Route Overview

Tubbataha is a remote UNESCO-listed marine park in the Sulu Sea, open to liveaboard operations during a limited season.

The route is best suited to experienced divers comfortable with drift diving, open water and variable currents.

This package includes 2 publicly verifiable departure dates. All future availability requires written reconfirmation.

The captain and cruise director may change the sequence according to weather, currents, permits, diver experience and safe operating conditions.

Operator Itinerary

This is the operator’s indicative itinerary. The captain and cruise director may change the sequence according to conditions, safety and marine-park regulations.

Day 1 — Embark Atlantis Adventurer in Puerto Princesa at approximately 17:00 and begin the overnight crossing.

Day 2 — Northern tip of North Atoll.

Day 3 — Southern end of North Atoll.

Day 4 — Northern tip of South Atoll.

Day 5 — Southern end of South Atoll.

Day 6 — Return to the southern end of North Atoll.

Day 7 — Final dives at Jessie Beazley Reef when conditions permit.

Day 8 — Breakfast and disembarkation in Puerto Princesa at approximately 07:00.

Diving overview

Atlantis liveaboard programmes can include up to four day dives and, at suitable locations, a night dive. The exact number depends on passages, park rules, conditions and safe no-fly planning.

All charters require Advanced Open Water certification or equivalent and at least 25 logged dives. Every diver must use a dive computer and carry visible and audible surface-signalling devices.

Conditions and experience

Conditions vary by route and can include current-influenced walls, offshore shoals, blue-water entries, wrecks, reef slopes and protected coral gardens.

Guests must be at least 15 years old. The operator assesses experience and may adjust participation for safety.

Underwater photography

Both vessels provide dedicated camera preparation and charging facilities.

Bring critical spares, batteries and storage media. Natural encounters, visibility and site access cannot be guaranteed.

Minimum certification: Advanced Open Water or equivalent
Minimum logged dives: 25
Water temperature: Generally warm tropical water; exact temperature varies by route and season

Shared spaces

Shared spaces include an air-conditioned salon, dining room, library and entertainment, partially shaded sun deck, bar and outdoor relaxation areas.

Connectivity depends on route and reception and cannot be guaranteed in remote areas.

Dining & dietary needs

Meals and snacks are served throughout the charter. Local soft drinks, coffee, tea, filtered water, beer and social servings of wine and local rum are included.

Dietary requirements and allergies must be declared during enquiry and confirmed before travel.

Dive deck

The dive area provides individual gear storage, a three-tier camera setup table with charging, rinse facilities and hot-water showers.

Dives are supported by two tenders. The daily programme depends on itinerary and conditions.

Dive tenders

Diving is supported by two tender boats and an additional skiff, subject to the vessel's current operating configuration.

Camera facilities

A dedicated camera setup area provides charging and preparation space.

Photographers should bring essential spares and reconfirm specialist requirements before travel.

Rental equipment

The vessel carries spare equipment but does not provide a complete onboard rental service.

Equipment may be arranged through Atlantis Dumaguete or local operators at other ports and must be collected, paid for and reconfirmed in advance.

Safety equipment

The yacht carries expedition and dive-safety equipment appropriate to its operating area, including emergency oxygen, first aid and life-saving equipment.

Personal dive-accident insurance is mandatory for every guest.

Navigation equipment

The vessel is equipped for blue-water Philippine operations. Specialist navigation and communications requirements must be reconfirmed with the operator.

Operator terms and departure information

Boarding

Embarkation: Puerto Princesa, Palawan. Atlantis Infiniti normally embarks at 16:00; Atlantis Adventurer normally embarks at 17:00.

Atlantis must arrange transfers associated with liveaboard reservations. Guests are strongly advised to arrive in the Philippines at least one day before embarkation and must supply flight, insurance and diver details in advance.

Disembarkation

Disembarkation: Puerto Princesa, Palawan, normally at approximately 07:00 on the final day.

No diving is planned after the final safe cutoff. Guests must allow an appropriate no-fly interval.

Operator's published deposit requirement

FIT liveaboard bookings require a 20% deposit within 30 days of booking. Bookings made 90 days or less before arrival require full payment.

Operator's published balance schedule

Full payment is due 60 days before arrival, together with final guest, travel and pre-check-in information.

Cancellation terms

The current FIT liveaboard schedule applies a 20% cancellation charge through 61 days before arrival and 100% from 60 days before arrival, subject to the operator's full written terms.

All quotations, reservations, cancellations and amendments must be confirmed in writing. The final contract terms supplied with the quote take precedence.

Departure-specific fees

Estimated marine-park fee: EUR 99 per guest.

Estimated fuel surcharge: EUR 245 per occupied cabin space; single occupancy uses two spaces and is therefore estimated at EUR 490.

Fees are estimates converted to EUR and are subject to change and written reconfirmation.
