Overview

Manami Resort is a luxury nature retreat set between forested hills and the Sulu Sea in Sipalay, Negros Occidental. The resort blends contemporary comfort with a strong sense of place, creating a quiet base for travellers who want both refined accommodation and easy access to the outdoors.

Accommodation ranges from ocean-facing and poolside suites to private villas designed for couples, families and small groups. Across the resort, private balconies or terraces, generous indoor-outdoor spaces and views of the surrounding landscape keep nature at the centre of the stay.

Diving is operated by Balas Dive & Experience Center, with access to Sipalay’s coral reefs, wrecks and macro-rich sites. Between dives, guests can slow down at the pool and spa or explore the coastline through boat trips, mangrove experiences and other nature activities.

Half Board and Full Board upgrades are available for guests who prefer to keep meals arranged in advance, making them particularly convenient for dive-focused stays.

Beyond diving

Manami works particularly well for couples and groups where not everyone dives. Non-divers can enjoy the swimming pool, Linong Spa and the resort’s quiet natural setting while divers are out on the water.

Experiences around Sipalay include boat trips, snorkeling, cave exploration, mangrove activities, paddleboarding and other nature-led excursions, giving non-divers plenty of ways to explore the destination at their own pace.

Getting there

Private road transfers can be arranged from Bacolod-Silay Airport and from the Dumaguete area.

The journey is approximately four hours from Bacolod and around three and a half hours from Dumaguete, depending on traffic and the final pickup point. Transfer timing is coordinated with your arrival and departure plans.

Dives per day

Flexible guided diving with Balas Dive & Experience Center, planned around local conditions and the preferred dive programme. Small guide groups are used, with a maximum of four divers per guide.

Dive programme

Choose 1, 2 or 3 guided dives per day. The estimated diving total is calculated from the selected number of dives per day, the number of divers and the length of the stay.

Package savings apply for longer dive programmes: 10 dives are approximately €576 per person and 20 dives approximately €1,078 per person. The calculator shows the standard daily rate; when a 10- or 20-dive threshold is reached, the lower package rate will be applied in the final quotation.

Dive schedules and sites remain subject to certification level, sea conditions and operational planning by Balas Dive & Experience Center.

Nitrox

Nitrox is available for certified divers and can be added to individual dives or multi-dive packages.

House reef

The Manami House Reef is especially appealing to macro lovers, with small reef creatures and nudibranchs among the subjects regularly photographed in the resort’s local waters.

Manami offers five accommodation categories: Oceanview Suites, Poolside Suites, Deluxe Villas, a Two-Bedroom Villa and a Two-Bedroom Ocean View Villa.

Oceanview and Poolside Suites are well suited to couples or dive buddies, while the detached Deluxe Villas offer more privacy. The two-bedroom villas provide expansive shared living space for families or friends, with private infinity pools and indoor-outdoor living.

Breakfast is included with the accommodation rates shown on Coral Triangle Expeditions. Selected meal-plan upgrades can be added to create a more complete resort stay.
