Manta Rhei Dive Center operates full-day diving from Labuan Bajo into Komodo National Park, normally completing three dives per operating day.

The operation focuses on safe small-group diving, with a maximum of four divers per guide and route planning adapted to tide, weather and experience.

Accommodation is not owned by the dive centre and is arranged separately in Labuan Bajo as part of a tailor-made land-based package.

About Manta Rhei Dive Center

Accommodation

Manta Rhei is a dive operator rather than an accommodation provider. Guests stay in a separately booked Labuan Bajo hotel.

Hotel choice, airport transfer and any pre- or post-dive nights are confirmed in the tailored quotation and are not included in the standard day-trip price.

Dining and meal plans

Lunch, snacks, water, tea and coffee are provided on the dive day; dietary needs must be advised in advance.

Hotel breakfast and dinner are separate unless included in the chosen Labuan Bajo stay.

Beyond diving

Snorkeling and private speedboat arrangements can be requested through local partners.

Komodo dragon and island visits can be combined only where the chosen route, permit and timing allow.

Getting there

The standard day trip does not include airport transfer.

Optional hotel transport is IDR 100,000 per ride, approximately €4.86, and must be confirmed for the selected hotel.

Dives per day

Three guided boat dives per operating day; no regular Sunday departure

Dive programme

Guests normally meet at 06:30 and return to Labuan Bajo at approximately 17:00 after three dives, lunch and surface intervals aboard the day boat.

Sites are selected according to current, tide and diver experience. Central Komodo, manta sites and more current-exposed northern sites are used when conditions permit.

Standard dive equipment is included except a dive computer. A maximum of four divers is assigned to each guide.

Nitrox

Nitrox is available at IDR 150,000 for three tanks, approximately €7.29; reconfirm the current fill price. One set of 15-litre tanks may be available on request.

House reef

No house reef; all diving is by day boat from Labuan Bajo.

Photography facilities

The day boat has dedicated gear space and rinse facilities suitable for underwater-camera workflows.

A private guide can be booked for photographers and other guests who prefer dedicated pacing, subject to availability.
