Beyond diving

Guests can snorkel, enjoy the beach and sun loungers, arrange massage or play volleyball.

The long jetty to Virgin Cocoa is suitable for walks, jogging and stargazing; babysitting and child arrangements are available on request.

Getting there

Scheduled arrivals operate Wednesday and Saturday; departures Tuesday and Friday.

The combined road and speedboat journey from Berau takes around three hours. Public 2027 transfer is €159 per person per direction plus the airport–jetty taxi; agent transfer terms differ.

Dive programme

Nunukan's four-kilometre house reef includes eight sites reached in about five minutes by boat and supports macro, turtle and reef diving.

Muaras Atoll offers shark, ray and pelagic potential; weekly Kakaban trips combine diving with Jellyfish Lake, and Big Fish Country targets barracuda and other schooling fish.

Dive groups are normally limited to four guests per guide.

Nitrox

Nitrox is available at €7 per 12-litre tank; 15-litre fills are also available at a supplement.

House reef

A four-kilometre house reef with eight named sites, reached in roughly five minutes by dive boat.

Photography facilities

Small groups of up to four divers per guide support both macro and wide-angle photography.
