Savedra Dive Center and Tipolo Beach Resort are located together at Panagsama Beach in Moalboal, Cebu. Savedra has operated in Moalboal since 1983. Its local programme focuses on the year-round Sardine Run directly in front of the dive centre, Pescador Island, coral walls, turtles, macro life and nearby wreck and night-diving opportunities.

Dining and meal plans

The standard room price excludes breakfast. Breakfast can be added for €6 per person per day, and the on-site Last Filling Station restaurant serves additional meals and drinks separately.

Dietary requirements should be shared before arrival so the restaurant can confirm suitable arrangements. Current menus, opening hours and any supplement remain subject to resort operation.

Beyond diving

Non-divers can enjoy the beachfront setting, seaside restaurant, swimming and snorkeling when local conditions permit, and explore Moalboal independently.

Optional land experiences can be arranged through Savedra and its activity partners, including Kawasan Falls, canyoneering and South Cebu mountain biking. Each activity is confirmed separately for route, difficulty, transport, inclusions and price.

Getting there

Private road transfers can be arranged between Cebu Airport or Cebu City and Moalboal. The journey is normally around three hours but varies with traffic, pick-up point and road conditions.

Current customer prices are €57 one way or €114 return for a car carrying one to two guests, and €93 one way or €185 return for a van carrying three to six guests. Flight details, luggage, exact route and vehicle availability are required for confirmation.

Dive programme

Savedra schedules up to three boat dives each day and normally returns to the dive centre after each dive. The year-round Sardine Run is accessible from shore directly in front of the centre, while Pescador Island, coral walls, turtles, macro sites and other local dives are reached according to the daily plan and sea conditions.

Guided groups are planned at a maximum of four divers per guide whenever possible. Private guiding can be requested for photography, specific marine-life interests or a more flexible pace. Nitrox, equipment rental, local marine fees and special-dive supplements are added separately where applicable.

Nitrox

Nitrox is available for certified Enriched Air divers from €4 per tank, subject to current fill availability and final confirmation.

House reef

The Moalboal Sardine Run is directly in front of Savedra and can normally be reached from shore. Access, current position of the school, visibility, current and guide requirements depend on the day's conditions.

Photography facilities

Savedra provides secure equipment storage, separate fresh-water rinse tanks, a dedicated camera rinse area, camera tables and charging points for underwater photography equipment.

Small guided groups support marine-life spotting and photography. A private guide can be requested but remains subject to staffing, site plan and resort occupancy.

Mandatory local fees

These locally collected fees apply automatically when the corresponding diving activity takes place. They are shown for transparency and are not optional selections.

Tipolo Beach Resort offers ten air-conditioned rooms beside Savedra Dive Center. The confirmed partner room categories are Seaside Queen and Seaside Twin, both for up to two guests and available from €48 per room per night.

Rooms include a private bathroom with hot-water shower, ceiling fan, mini-fridge or minibar, safe, Wi-Fi and a furnished balcony. Breakfast is excluded from the room rate and can be added for €6 per person per day. The minimum stay is three nights.
